The PCPA Technology Conference provides attendees with new ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations and to use technology to connect with consumers and future leaders. PCPA’s first technology conference in 2011 assisted members with many technical issues. For some, it was a critical step to begin the Medicaid incentive program. Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC), Philadelphia, received Medicaid electronic health record incentive payments of $42,500 for two of three eligible professionals. Dr. Andrea Ettingoff, director of clinical and quality affairs, CCTC, said “We would not have gotten this far if it was not for the presentation by the state staff at the PCPA tech conference. They gave very specific instructions on when to apply and there I found out about the listserv that gives weekly, crucial information.” This year’s conference promises to provide more valuable information including updates on meaningful use, social media, data solutions, and incentives to move to electronic health records.

Providers, counties, and managed care organizations are all encouraged to attend. The target audience is:

• CEOs, Executive Direc­tors, Chief Operating Officers;
• Chief Financial Officers;
• Chief Information Officers; and
• Other senior-level managers (human resource, compliance, quality) and key technology staff.
